Braille Boy Blue

Unseeing Lover,
Shrouded in a cloke of undiscovered realities:
I may easily drown
In the depths of blue pools
That are your eyes.
Will you even notice?

Your hand, tightly held by mine.
Can you feel the agony,
The thousand daggers
Shooting up your spine?
That is my reflection looking back at me
While I am lost in your sapphire seas.

Listen most earnestly
To the soft wails of the wind,
For it carries with it
My desperate litanies
For life's visional beauty
To be a shared experience.

Let me bring you close
Enough to taste the misery in my tears.
To smell the relentless hope
For sight on my skin.
Shall we bask in
Blind passion?
