Each person has at least a page to fill. 


To fill with hopes and dreams,
with plans to set in motion.
To fill with lines of promises,
reasons and explanations.
To fill with X's and O's.


You are the X.
The exact opposite of what is deemed
good for me, of what
I need to survive.
The extreme pain one feels
upon realizing loss
or defeat.
Yet I have never yearned 
this strongly
for something
before.


I am the O.
The origin of thought, of magic,
and of silence.
The openly-worn heart on one's sleeve
for the entire world 
to witness.
The opportunity to be seized,
free from shame and regret.
